Collective Schizophrenia: A Chinese Plot?
In a fit of collective insanity, or some type of delusional hysteria, this nation (self-identified liberal: 21%, Conservative: 35-40%) elected the most liberal president ever.
He swore he’d close Gitmo. Everybody cheered and voted for him. Now, the nation is 2-1 against closing the facility.
60% of Americans believe the federal government has too much power and spends too much, yet GM President Barack Obama spends like there’s no tomorrow yet he remains wildly popular.
This is schizophrenia on a national level. Maybe the Chinese really are poisoning us with their crappy products, driving us slowly insane. Some think that’s what happened to the Roman Empire.
Who says it can’t happen here…

yes – just today I was thinking that in a country that is obsessed with opinion polls – 65% think this, 48% think that, who should even care? Because 52% of these geniuses voted for Obama in the first place, and 55% STILL approve of how he’s handling the economy down from 60%. Rather than schizos, maybe we’re just not too bright overall, if you want to take an average. It’s really quite ingenious:
Buy up all our debt, making America heavily beholden to China.
Make crappy products that sometimes injure Americans or make them sick.
Force the country to keep buying poison goods, or they’ll call in the debt.
Those orientals are very devious.
