Even Obama agrees with those ideals, I think - judging from some very liberal friends of mine. They think freedom is freedom from the tyrrany of corporate America, and that means being anti-capitalist, anti-corporation, and pro the government heavily regulating, or outright managing, "greedy" corporations. In my mind the Rasmussen poll is pablum, a sop to distract people who are slowly selling themselves into slavery from realizing that they are trading the reality of freedom for the appearance of freedom. It's very much like people who uphold Christian virtues without seeing any connection to how they decide issues in their everyday lives. We humans lie to ourselves very easily, and we hate the men and women who call us on our self-deceit. Unfortunately, agreement with ideals doesn’t count for much.
