Did your Representative vote for the health care takeover?

Democrats+Control+Congress

EDITOR’S NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE MARCH 21 ROLL CALL.

FOR THAT ROLL CALL GO TO “HALL OF SHAME.”

Last night the House of Representatives passed H R 3962, the 2,000-page Affordable Health Care for America Act.

This is perhaps the most intrusive piece of legislation ever enacted.

This bill was the most controversial in recent memory, and may not have had even a scant majority of Americans favoring it.

In any event, no measure that is this controversial, no measure with this much opposition ought to even come to a vote in a legislative body that is charged with representing the wishes of its constituents.

Every member of the House that voted for this bill should be targeted for removal from office, either on Election Day, or for those with legal or ethical breaches, through other legal means.

  1. Robert Skiba says:

As important a bill as the health care program is to so many people, to pass by 2-3 votes in the house is not a victory for Obama and Pelosi. It will be interesting to see what the senate does next. 2010 will be an election year that will have considerable interest to many voters. We shall not forget who the real political animals are and get rid of them.

  2. Hilmer Swenson says:

Thanks for the list of traitors to American Freedom and the Free Enterprise system. I hope and pray each one of these rubber stamp slugs will be voted out of office in their next election!

    • Anna Curvin says:

Actually, I will NOT vote to re-elect my representatives because they voted against it. Reform is necessary. I am glad it did pass despite my insurance-company-paid-for reps from NC.

  3. garen says:

time to change the course of representatives who vote as they are told NOT by their constituants but by the corrupt leaders now managing our system.
Keep their names in mind when its election time again. group by group we can rid ourselves of the fearful followers of the govt. They’re sure not follow what we the voters want, tho saying they will. …. liars, all of them. 3/4 or more of Americans DONT want this bill. How come it passed???????
i cant wait for vote time…impeach them all……..let them get along on the money we have to…… tho i understand spending one day in the chamber allows them free everythin for them and their families for life. now…. IT THAT FAIR.? especially after doing a lousy job? THAT’S WHAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.

    • Billie says:

You’ve been reading too many polls or listening to too much FOX News. There are many, many people who supported this bill. Almost everyone I know supports it. It’s important to look beyond your comfort zone to get a real picture. And regardless of the margin of victory, the bill passed. Republicans have done the same thing (and worse) many times. Dems were stuck with it until it was their turn. It’s the way the country works. If we don’t stop this ridiculous level of animosity and hatred, we’ll tear ourselves to pieces.

  4. Ra says:

Vote out ALL incumbents in 2010 and let’s start over with hungry new guys that will listen to their constituents

  5. Gary Wise says:

Now we know which “representatives” we need to vote out of office. Thanks for the list!

  6. NEPAConservative says:

Ashamed to say but my Blue State reps voted for it.

NEXT THEY WILL BE VOTING FOR DIRECT LENDING FOR STUDENT LOANS. THEY WILL BLAME THOSE JOB LOSSES ON BUSH AS WELL. KANJORSKI AND CARNEY CAN SUCK IT! :[

  7. Frank Little says:

I suspect that only a Third Party can keep the Congress honest. I don’t think that this will happen in my lifetime

If Obama’s plsns for the destruction of the United States succeeds, he will need to print money at a much faster rate. This will destroy my retirement income.
All of our money will become worthless. I am too old for this to personally matter much.
However, and this thought gives me much pleasure; when my pension becomes worthless, so will that of the Political drones.

  8. Susan says:

I am so disgusted by what has happened to America since the Democrats took over with the vile Pelosi at the helm and the subsequent election of Obama into office. I am an independent and I only hope that people pay special attention to how our government is supposed to work and the words of our forefathers “we the people for the people by the people” and never again allow one party to rule over the 3-ring circus and never again elect a liberal socialist politician into office. We are now witnessing the destruction of America and the blood that was shed for its taxpaying legal citizens. If the liberals don’t like it here; they should go to China or elsewhere.

    • Billie says:

Why should liberals leave? Why don’t you leave? And maybe you should read the Constitution before you try quoting it. Did you graduate from high school? Chill with the drama.

  9. mrussell says:

how nice that rep wexler who is voluntarily leaving office voted for the shacklethelittleguy and small businees healthcare bill -too bad he doesn’t know what it’s like to scrape and scramble to stay afloat every month —and wake up people – you think this is a “freebie” —surprise! you are giving away your freedom. Wait til you see some third level health practitioner instead of an MD. wait till someone tells you – you don’t need meds or a doctor – suck it up!

  10. Frank DiRienzio says:

@NEPAConservative – We can’t have it both ways. I dont agree Mr. Cao but at least he voted in his districts best interest. I’ll give him credit for that.As for my Cogressperson (Wasserman Schultz) she is about as bad as it gets.I cant wait to vote against her.

  11. Ed Zammit says:

I just found out through this site that Jim Moran (VA) voted for this garbage. I’m going to make it my mission to make sure he is voted out of office next election.

    Ed Zammit
    Vienna , VA

  12. Judy Helmick says:

Our only representative in WY did not vote for the health care bill. I don’t know of anyone who was in favor of other than Obama and his cohorts. It is becoming terrifying. Is there a way to see who voted for and who voted against and have it show the states they represent?

  13. Debra says:

Thank you for the list, now we know how to vote in Florida next year. These people who voted for this Health care bill are criminals and they need to be punished for going aganist the wishes of their employers, the American People.

  14. debra cox says:

The majority of American citizens were against this legislation and we were not listened to.
    Watch out immigration is next!!!

  15. pissed says:

VOTE EVERYONE OUT THIS NEXT ELECTION!!!!!!!!

  16. Richard says:

Go to GOOOH.COM they want to replace all 435 per in the house with people like you and I. just go and check it out. we can take back America…….

  17. Rob says:

Obama is only doing what he said he would do. Gotta give him credit for that! This is what the American people wanted when they hired him in 2008! So, congratulations America…We are 1 more step closer to Communism.

  18. hobo says:

I just hope we don’t forget in November.I’m 67 years of age and never have I sent anything like what this country has allowed to happen.

If we get lazy and don’t go to the polls in record numbers we are the ones to blame.Regardless it’s too late we have changed the population makeup of this country. We opened our borders to anyone coming in and that population continues to grow. When you see people leave their own country and come to this country and march in protest over our government while waving their so called country flag we are lost.I’m afraid we opened our eyes too late.

God knows I hope my family members did not die in vain. All we can do is try but I’m afraid its too little too late

  19. Billie_the_village_idiot says:

Billie the villiage idiot speaks again… People like Billie are a big part of the reason we find ourselves in this crisis.
These “representatives” are crooks and Billie is likely being paid by one or more of them to continuously spew his/her ignorance and indifference to liberty.

  20. Youknowit says:

Ha, Ha… Agree with the Billie comments completely!

  21. NEPAConservative says:

Obama hosts champagne toast for staff after health care overhaul passed in House
